I never actually got the poop to stop smearing on the walls after almost two months. I ended up cleaning the entire inside of the globe twice a week. At one point I went through 35 lbs of litter in one week because of the GIANT clumps that were being created. I’ve never seen anything like it in all my years of scooping cat poop.

Within 2 weeks I started getting false full errors, and then today it has failed due to the pinch detect fault. I've spent hours watching self repair videos, cleaned the sensors, cleared the pinch detectors, and after 2 cycles it is back to pinch default errors. They over engineered this thing to have sensitive parts exposed to corrosion. Follow the video except that instead of replacing the sensor just take one of the pinch terminals and plug the wires you disconnected into each end of it. Maybe wrap the whole thing in some electrical tape after you are done, then re-assemble. 1. [deleted]
Litter robot has been popular with bigger cats due to the size and the way it’s been designed. I'm pretty happy with the LR3, they are too expensive to just replace with the LR4 for no reason. There are some alternatives that exist, similar to the LR that I never knew about, but not a better price original not much.
