#1 · Jul 3, 2020 Evening Folks, Picked up a Lima320 Grip Module for my P320 XCarry that I got a month ago. (Old eyes are not as sharp getting on target as they once were). Disassembly and putting most of it back together went fine.

Jul 21, 2019 · Sig P320 takedown lever fix. I recently received a fullsize 45acp P320 with a takedown lever that was almost impossible to turn. An internet search revealed this as a very common problem on the P320 series with various proposed fixes. Upon disassembly I found the lever pin has a camming groove surface that had some machining burrs on it. I did not take out the take-down lever first. I had the FCU out just to get an idea of how it worked and somehow the trigger was pulled before I was putting the FCU module in the gun. After getting the FCU back in the hand grip module, I installed the slide and couldn't get the take-down lever in. I could not get the slide back off either.The end that goes in first has an angled flat. The flat has to push the fcu out of the way, toward the rear. Mar 16, 2021 · I'm piecing together my first P320. I just got the recoil spring in tonight and it doesnt seem to be fitting correctly. The guide rod is sticking out of the front when the slide is forward, and when the slide is locked backwards the rod is canted to the side resting on the grip module. Before the slide goes on everything seems to fit as it should. My takedown lever holes are very slightly oversize by 0.002-0.003" at most. I don't know if that much less travel on the safety takedown lever would be enough to cause this issue. Oct 10, 2020 · I had the FCU out just to get an idea of how it worked and somehow the trigger was pulled before I was putting the FCU module in the gun. After getting the FCU back in the hand grip module, I installed the slide and couldn't get the take-down lever in. I could not get the slide back off either. I was able to pull the slide/FCU back out together. Make sure gun has no magazine and is empty, safety first. Pull slide back and push up slide catch until locked back. Rotate takedown lever to six or seven o'clock position. Release slide catch and pull slide forward all the way off the rails until it free of grip module. Sometimes just turning clockwise while pulling will get it to come out sometimes is a twisting clockwise and counterclockwise plus pulling and wiggling. It’s not an easy push/pull thing.
