Simple answer: ultracite cores mean you learned the plans to craft the prime receiver for either (a) the standard gatling laser or (b) the ultracite gatling laser. Even if you do make these ultracite cores, you have to be sure that you can produce the prime receiver for the ultracite - not standard - gatling laser.

This is a build i would use specifically for a full health power armor heavy gunner who only uses gatling lasers/plasmas. build. notes: try and get 4 pieces of sentinel power armor and 1 piece of food/drink/chem weight reduction (for 80% weight reduction total). Build does not have ballistic carry weight reduction.
