Enchanted whelp crests are used to increase the basic crafting levelling recipes, not the spark ones. It doesn’t require a spark to make a whelpling crest 447. The equivalent last season took those same recipes to 408. Most didn’t have use for that because the ilvl jump from 10.0 to 10.1 wasn’t as large. Ah.

As you know enchanted wyrm crests do not need sparks. Is the guy crafting your gear an enchanter? You need enchanting to be able to make the enchanted crests. I guess all three were lying then. Then if you did everything correctly. Then it must be a bug or a UI problem on your end. Freshly dinged alt (two days ago) did the campaign to hit renown 20 in couple hours for free enchanted wyrm from renown 20 and fyrakk kill (lfr) so i got 2 free 476. Ended up crafting 2 476 and 2 463 but honestly since crafted items are only 486 and not max they are easily replaceable with m+ drops.
