It's an Ultra with a captured double spring set-up. I wouldn't switch the springs cause it's a PITA. If it does it with the Kimber mags (don't slam them into the gun when they are empty) then the next thing I would do is find a shooter who shoots short 1911's and let them shoot the gun.Apr 17, 2009 · I have a brand new Ultra Covert as well.
