It runs because the ORDER is not mixed up, just the relative position. someone had the distributor out, put it back in, but #1 wasn't at the top of the compression stroke, it was at the top or end of the exhaust stroke. That made the distributor exactly 180 degrees off.Maybe he's thinking the 360 is a "Mopar" 360 and not as tough as an AMC 304! Everything's pretty much the same except the 360 heads have much bigger valves. The combined loads from twinned firing pulses and belt load from serpentine stuff was hurting front mains on the lightened blocks they went to.
