Even if you watch the same episode on VHS, it'll give exp, might be changed in the future, bit it works now. VHS tapes are best saved for when you have the skills book to multiply the exp for massive gains. The multiplication factor spies to the TV shows, but since you can't control when they play, it's hard to read the needed books in time.
