Frank Matero is Professor of Architecture and Chairman of the Graduate Program in Historic Preservation at the University of Pennsylvania. His research is focused on the conservation of buildings and archaeological sites including Mesa Verde, Bandelier, Casa Grande and other American Southwest sites, Catal Hoyuk and Gordion in Turkey, and Chiripa in Bolivia.
