Seeing a yellow crown means they are edge of darkness, so they are a Premium Edition PMC. Most Russian names are usually scavs, but certain scav names will signify a raider. To many players, Scavs are just soulless AI wandering through the various maps of Escape from Tarkov. They're either barely a threat at all or have the aim and foresight of the Terminator. You never know what you'll get when you go up against them, even worse when you're up against a player Scav.Went to negatives, but slowly recovered. If the player is wearing some worn down but colorful clothes/ sneakers and such, they are scavs. If the player looks freshly shaved head/wears military clothes, they seem to be pmc. As PMC its easy - shoot all that moves (or hide). As Scav ylu have to learn how are scavs looking. AI scav will not shoot you, player scav might. When you play as a scav just shoot no one. Later on you can try to kill some raiders or rogues, but the best way to play early on is to run away and extract with any shit. Armour, movement and armbands are the best ways of telling but these take time to read. So my advice is to stop shooting everything that moves as a scav and learning to control that trigger itch. Sometimes it's better to die then decrease also on pmc runs try and take payable extracts for a boost.
Would most likely do the same if I was still doing scav runs. There is just no real point of having a good karma. At this point in the wipe scav runs are unneeded, the scav case has been a scam for the last 4 wipes, so bo reason to even build that and max lvl fence is kinda useless.

How to I know if scav or pmc. Just had a raid I spawned in as scav and saw a dude who looked like a pmc but what do I know. So if I as a PMC want to exfil with scav, and tell the bot, the bot will match me with a scav who did the same in the same game, if there is one. In the beggining there will be no hits as people won't be using the bot that much, but when the user count gets high enough I think it will be possible.It will eventually become automatic and be something you don't have to think about, it takes less than a fraction of a second to identify scav or pmc even under heavy armour through nightvision at this point, it just takes a long time depending on the person playing and how good their memory is. It would just allow players to cheese max karma easily. Playing duos and other one dies spawns as scav and both extract from pmc scav duo extract. Also farming scav bosses would be easy, scav locates and friend pmc nades boss then. Otherwise i like the idea of making max karma more of a goal for players.
