To be honest other stances have something like this. For example Gunblade's Bullet dance forward combo 2nd attack just slashes around you while standing. I think lots of stances should be checked on 3 basic combos (standing, moving and combo+moving).

The Dual Nikana stance is given out for free. You could be an MR 1 player and pick up the stance immediately. That's why the stance itself is only ok.
