Star citizen scan not working.
QUESTION. I have the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, my computer recognizes that it’s connected but it’s as if Star Citizen doesn’t recognize it. I can’t change any bindings, my ship doesn’t react to any movements on the joystick. I selected the warthog in the control profile and still nothing works.
Prospector will only 'sometimes' be able to scan asteroids. There are a few supposed work-arounds out there, but some of them can break the game enough you have to restart. Best fix for now is, don't mine asteroids. I went from harvesting them in Yela orbit to instead doing stuff on the surface of Yela. With Energy Star rebates, being green is a little bit easier. I had this issue after flying to Hurston specifically. The Quantum Drive would just die afterwards. The way to fix it is to hit tab and start a scan with one of the mouse clicks, I forget which. Then it should work normally. 6.

Hi all, I used to do the Illegal monitors detected mission quite a lot because they pay a lot and were super fast to do even tho boring. However, since the last update they have been seemingly buggy most of the time. About 80% of the time I try the mission there will be either one or two or all monitors that would be completely unfindable.
With two players, one in the pilot seat and one in the turret, scanning worked fine for us when space mining. Maybe only a bug if you seat hop? Nope, had it as well in a two-player mining session. First 15 minutes all went fine, and then about 1 rock in 3 weren't scannable anymore. Ping works just fine if Scanning is off, but with Scan on, my Ping doesn't return any contacts. Verified across multiple ships and with "Lock ping to Scan Mode" setting active and deactivated.
