Zombie virus is okay, you get bitten, you can see it , there is an special sign for that, so it is kind of fair behaviour of the game, in such cases i just stop the game, because all your actions and progress is usless, but still its okay , you made a misstake in a fight and it is consequences .You need to sew them shut with needle and thread. You could also just bandage them, but the bandage gets dirty immediately and takes a long time to heal because of infection. Although that's not necessarily a huge deal.
