Hey man I personally use fox farm ocean forest soil and yes the soil is good for about the first month of growing in it but after I feed 1/2 strength fox farm trio. Either way I would say that feeding schedules are not needed unless you got a big garden.

The Fox Farm feeding schedule calls for 2000ppm feedings. I always read online to keep it at 1000ppm. My last grow using a TDS meter, I would give "general feedings" which out me at 1000ppm. A "heavy feeding" according to the bottle would do 1500- 2000ppm. I always put 1000ppm in and would get 1000ppm out in the runoff.
