Very few broken in NiB BCG's come close to being as smooth as a Phosphate/Chrome Lined BCG when lubricated properly (which means generously lubricated). If I was looking for a one and done solution I'd personally be inclined to pick up a Sionics NP3 BCG. Definitely a bit over that $150 mark but they're very solid. If I wanted to save a bit I'd do the Microbest chrome I referenced or a standard BCM. The BCMs are super solid as well.

I feel like the DD bcg slides and locks into the chamber a little smoother with less effort than the Radian. Just my two cents but they are both excellent in terms of finish and performance. Honestly the standard phosphate won't do you wrong. But if your budget allows, the NP3 is an upgrade. It's super slick and looks amazing. I can't speak to the sionics BCG, but I've seen a lot of guys saying to email sionics and they'll send you an invoice for the NP3 BCG. Apparently they ship out in ~6 business days.
