Dark Athel is designed for Spider but doesn't actually function properly. She's pretty worthless except as an early Faction Wars filler. Not worth investing in for any aspect of the game. She upis better than her reputation. Not for the nukes but she brings DEF and SPD down debuffs.

As I’ve said many times, Athel’s AOE damage is low, so the champion will be effective only in beginner teams like in the pictures below.
