Not sure what (if any) affect adding the ports at the back did but the first thing to double check is the quick connect hoses under the front loader. Just undo and then reconnect....see if that fixes it. Reply back with results. With tractor running and 3 point hitch down raise 3 point to top. Listen to hear if engine changes it’s tone. Then push lever forward and listen to hear if engine goes and runs smother. If it does then it is dead heading the hydraulic system and will make the loader slow. With 3point raised to top and there is nothing on hutch.

If the knob turns, turn it full counter clockwise and try lowering the 3 pt hitch with the engine off. You can stand on one of the lift arms to help assist gravity. These lift arms only provide hydraulic force in the up position. The down position only uses gravity (and whatever weight/implement) is attached to it. Hello Tom, I took the advice about putting the 3-point hitch all the way down, then put lever all the way down to 1 and then shut off tractor and start again, worked just fine. I am new to 3-point hitch operation, and will follow the operators manual instructions. I am going to try it out this morning, and see how it works.
Remove the seat and seat mounting hardware. Remove the four bolts from the lift piston on the top cover. Remove the piston and replace the o-ring and backup ring. Aug 1, 2011. #5. There should be a round knob located under your seat and sticking out toward the front of the tractor. That knob regulates how fast the 3PH drops. You can rotate that knob left and right to adjust how fast the lift drops. If that knob (valve) is all the way closed, the hitch won't move. Check it.
