My Detachment always had a 3 day base visit (day we arrive, day to explore, day to depart). We never did it over summer so yours might last longer. Usually you’ll go around base and visit some of the important areas on base. I full recommend doing it and if you’re a AS100/AS200, it’ll fulfill your underclassmen PDT requirement.
