May 4, 2023 · When we facilitate a meeting, this means setting up a dedicated spaces in which to discuss, create, prioritize and decide together. Those spaces are different from our normal interactions. They are set aside from the rest of the flow of the day and have rituals for starting, ending and running them. We call them meetings. Knowing what to address saves a facilitator's time, makes them more equipped to hold a meeting and establishes the mood. 2. Inform management of the meeting. After identifying the agenda, inform superiors of your plans. It's one of the effective meeting facilitation techniques that afford the facilitator management support.Facilitating Effective Discussions.
