I recently installed a Larson storm door with the hidden closer. And, we had some crazy wind yesterday. Door worked great, didn't get whipped around at all. Even opening the door against the wind, it self-closed normally and didn't slam. As long as you install it correctly, I'd say you'd be satisfied with the hidden closer. Larson.
